Azerbaijani president decrees to apply law on establishing new municipalities through unification

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to apply the Law on Establishing New Municipalities through Unification of Former Municipalities of the Azerbaijani Republic, AzerTaj state news agency reported.

Under president's decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is charged to submit the President proposals to bring current legislation in accordance with the decree as well as to bring legal acts of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers and corresponding agencies of executive power into conformity with the law in two months.
