Observers group from CIS interparliamentary assembly to take part in monitoring of referendum in Azerbaijan

By the invitation of the chairman of Milli Medjlis of Azerbaijan Oqtay Asadov a group of observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will take part in the monitoring of the referendum on introduction of amendments to the Azerbaijani Constitution, according to the press service for the CIS interparliamentary assembly.

The group of observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly is headed by deputy chairman of the federation council of the federal assembly of Russia Svetlana Orlova. Deputies of the senior legislative bodies, representing the member-states of the CIS interparliamentary assembly are part of the group.

Experts of the International institute of monitoring of democratic development are attracted to ensure the successful work of international observers of the CIS interparliamentary assembly, parliamentarism and observation of voting rights of the citizens of the member-states of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and its affiliate functioning in Baku, Azerbaijan.
