Azerbaijani ambassador to Tehran: "Official Baku is not against the peaceful nuclear program of Iran"

According to him, every country has a right to use nuclear energy to meet its energy needs.

"If the nuclear program of Iran is for peaceful aims and does not pose a threat to peace or target others, why should Azerbaijan be against it? It would seem illogical", said the ambassador.

According to him, the statement of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the nuclear program of Iran was welcomed in this country.

"Iranian side highly evaluates the thoughtful approach of Azerbaijan in this issue", announced Hasanov.
