Azerbaijan National Independence Party defines form of participation in referendum

The Azerbaijan National Independence Party has defined the forum of participation in a referendum due to introduction of amendments to the Constitution, said spokesman for the party Ali Orujev.
He said as the initiative group of the Milli Istiglal party was not registered in the Central Election Commission, the party functioners were provided with free choice to vote for any amendment.

"The party demonstrates different attitude in connection with amendments to the Constitution. We agree only on some of them.

The party functionists were provided with free choice. I hope they will make the right choice", said Orujev.

Notably, the referendum on amendments to the Constitution is planned to be held on March 18.
