PACE to send delegation to observe referendum in Azerbaijan

According to head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE Samed Seidov, the session participants also discussed issues of Azerbaijan.

It was decided to send a small PACE delegation to Azerbaijan to observe the referendum, scheduled for March 18.

As for the monitoring committee's request for Venice Commission's reference about the referendum, Seidov said Azerbaijan has never rejected cooperating with the Venice Commission.

He also said the agenda includes election of a new chairman of the subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
