01 November 2008 [10:06] - TODAY.AZ
"The public must be informed about the minimal limit of concessions in the issue of Nagorno Karabakh, spoken of by senior officials of Armenia", said deputy of the Heritage parliamentary faction of the Armenian parliament Zarui Postandjan.
"I am concerned over the Karabakh issue and the statements that this issue will soon be settled. Senior officials of Armenia talk about mutual concessions and the Armenian public should know about the minimal limit of these concessions", said she.

In particular, she said she is anxious whether the existing division line will be violated and whether the public of Armenia, Karabakh and Azerbaijan are ready for deployment of other forces in these areas, and how the issue of Azerbaijanis co-existence with "Karabakhis" will be settled if they return to their homes.

She said today Karabakh is a reality and therefore the relations between Armenia and "NKR" must acquire a legal form, recognizing "NKR" and this decision must be followed by its unification with Armenia.

"Speaking about the Karabakh conflict, the senior officials announced that they will make concessions saying that Aghdam is not our native city. Moreover, the word "occupation" was also mentioned by the senior officials", said Postandjan, who is a member of the newly created organization "Miatsum", considering Karabakh a part of Armenia.

As for the announcement of the Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan that Armenians are more ready to the problem resolution than Azerbaijanis, the Heritage deputy said that she is not ready for territorial concessions.
