Gudrat Hasanquliyev: "The Azerbaijani parliament should consider issue of Ukrainian Holodomor"

He noted that an international conference on Holodomor of Ukrainian people, to be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will be held in Kiev.

"The EU states have already voiced their position on this issue and recognized these events as a tragedy in the history of Ukrainian people, Milli Medjlis should discuss the issue of Holodomor in Ukraine and adopt the due decision. It will help us to further inform the world community about our tragedy, committed by the Soviet powers, if exactly, the deployment of forces in Baku on January 20 of 1990 and shooting civilians dead", said Hasanguliyev.
