Azerbaijani opposition parties demanding to allocate Baku center for holding actions

He noted that the opposition adopted a statement, according to which it plans to hold an action in the center of the city.

As central places, the opposition parties chose the Fizuli square, Jafar Jabbarli, near Ganjlik, Nariman Narimanov, Azizbeyov and other metro stations.

"We have already sent an appeal to the Baku mayor's office. Our action is devoted to the pre-election situation", announced he.

As for whether the parties will hold an unsanctioned action in case the mayor's office dismisses their appeal, Hajili said:

"We expect a positive response from the mayor's office. Depending on it, the parties will take a due decision".

It should be noted that the Center of Cooperation of Opposition includes the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Liberal Party of Azerbaijan, Musavat party, Civil Development Party and Public Forum "For Azerbaijan".
