Azerbaijan's Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources is holding a week of the Caspian Sea on September 22-28.

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Ministry that in line with the approved plan of measures, little picks and round tables will be held within a week on the 955 meter coastline, belonging to Azerbaijan, including in Nabran, Sumgayit, Baku, Neftchala and Lenkoran. These events will be attended by public, representatives of local executive structures and educational establishments.
According to the source, the week of the Caspian Sea is held in the framework of the "International Sea Day", declared by UN in 1978.
