NATO+Azerbaijan meeting held in Brussels

A meeting for assessment of the individual partnership actions plan (IPAP) was held in the 26 (NATO members) + 1 (Azerbaijan) format in NATO office on September 17, said the press service for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
As is reported, the meeting was attended by a delegation from Azerbaijan, headed by Foreign minister Elmar Mamedyarov. The delegation also includes representatives of the Ministries of Defense, National Security, Emergency Situations, Internal Affairs, State frontier service and interior troops of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan.

Mamedyarov informed the meeting participants about the level of IPAP execution by Azerbaijan and the attained results. As for the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the Minister noted that it can be settled only in the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

In turn, ambassadors of the NATO member-states voiced unambiguous support to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Some of the meeting participants stressed Azerbaijan's strategic importance and voiced their interest with the development of relations.

In the framework of the visit, Mamedyarov also met with NATO secretary general Yaap de Hoop Schaeffer.
