Mazahir Panakhov: "Payment-based air time can not be longer or shorter than the allocated free air time"

He said the air time on the payment basis can not be shorter or longer than the allocated free air-time.

"Azerbaijani TV channels, including private ones, can conduct paid air time for all candidates for no less or more than 3 hours a week. If all local TV channels join this process, they should create equal conditions for all.

It implies the fee for the allocated air time, the order of candidates' speaking at television and radio and so on", noted Panakhov.

He said that a presidential candidate or his representative have a right to define for themselves how to use the air time, allocated for them.
