Head of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission meets with representatives of OSCE pre-election assessment mission

Mazahir Panakhov, chairman of the Central Election Commission received a delegation led by Andres Herkel, head of the pre-election assessment mission of the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe, reported the press service for the Central Election Commission.

The chairman of the Central Election Commission informed representatives of the PACE assessment mission about works, held for preparation to the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, the number of the registered presidential candidates and so on.

During the meeting Panakhov noted that the pre-election agitation campaign of the candidates start on September 17 and announced that due conditions will be created for presidential candidates to meet with voters and hold mass actions.

Panakhov also informed the representatives of the PACE assessment mission about ensuring the election points with offices with normal working conditions, all necessary equipment and facilities.
