Qulamhuseyn Alibeyli: "Preparations for the presidential elections of Azerbaijan are held in normal conditions"

"The preparations for the presidential elections of Azerbaijan are held in normal conditions without any significant clashes", said Qulamhuseyn Alibeyli, ex-chairman of the Supreme Medjlis of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan and presidential candidate.

He said he had had no special problems so far.

"I have managed to collect the necessary number of signatures and pass registration in the Central Election Commission. Naturally, it should be admitted that there are some problems in the country in the sphere of observation of human rights and holding mass actions in the center. I am so far satisfied with the process of the election campaign.

Moreover, unlike the previous elections, black PR is not so obvious this time and it is most likely to be demonstrated in period of agitation campaign", noted he.

Qulamhuseyn Alibeyli also announced that the work at definition of observers of presidential elections is currently held.

"The agitation campaign will start on September 17. During it we will present our election slogan, the advertising footage to be used at the election", said he.
