Two Azerbaijani natives nominated their candidacies at the municipal elections in Israel to be held on November 11, reports the press service for the State Committee for work with Azerbaijanis, living abroad.

As is reported, they are Adam Amilov and Mekhemia Mikhailli, who moved to Israel from Azerbaijan. Both candidates are vice presidents of the International Association Azerbaijan-Israel.
Mikhaill joined the elections in Akko city and he is in struggle for the position of a mayor of this city, while Amilov is nominating for the post of the deputy mayor of Kiryat Yam city. Amilov has been occupying this position twice.
It should be noted that Akko and Kiryat Yam are the cities of compact residence of Azerbaijani Jews in Israel.
