The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan held its regular session, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.

As is reported the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country and the world.
The session participants positively assessed the rise in salaries to separate representatives of social groups. The party calls on the government to continue these actions to overcome inflation.
The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan also discussed the recent actions of the leaders of Azerbaijani opposition regarding creation of a coalition.
The party is against the recent announcements of the parties chairmen who say the results of presidential elections are known beforehand.
It considers that in the situation when unstable political situation rules over the region, the said statements may cause serious damage to further cooperation and strategic partnership of the parties.
Such statements worsen the situation in the country and this tactics is not successful.
The session participants also decided to work out a plan of actions in connection with party's participation in the upcoming municipal elections to be held in 2009.
