PACE Bureau welcomes President Ilham Aliyev’s latest pardon decree

Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told APA that Georgian-Ossetian conflict had been mainly discussed at the meeting. Decision was made to set up a special group consisting of co-rapporteurs on Russia and Georgia and leaders of political parties for visiting the region. The situation in Georgia will be discussed at the autumn session of PACE for two days. Samad Seyidov said PACE President Llu?s Maria de Puig addressed the meeting of the Bureau and briefed the participants about the outcomes of his visit to Azerbaijan.

"PACE Bureau was also informed about the latest pardon decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, which was welcomed by the meeting participants," he said.
