President of Azerbaijan visiting Khizi, Azerbaijan - UPDATED

Day.Az reports with reference to AzerTac that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the rehabilitation hospital and center of wildlife recovery in the National park of Altiaghach.

The head of state cut the strip and saw the exhibition.

He familiarized with the administrative building of the National Park, ecotourism and information center, saw the tourism facilities in the rent and sale department.

Day.Az reports with reference to AzerTac that Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with public representatives of Khizi.

The head of state highly assessed the works, carried out in Khizi in the recent years, and announced that special programs for agricultural and tourism development in the region are being prepared.

President I.Aliyev noted that additional funds will be allocated for resolution of the problems of the Khizi region.

He familiarized with the Chess center of Khizi. Head of the center Esmira Kerimova informed the head of state that the center expansion is planned for future.

A two storeyed building with 16 flats, constructed for Karabakh war disabled and martyrs' families was launched in Khizi. The residents warmly welcomed President of Azerbaijan ilham Aliyev, who visited the city.

The head of state presented orders on flats to their owners and congratulated them. He spoke of the care and attention, paid to the disabled and martyrs' families in our country.

He noted that Azerbaijan develops and consolidates, carries huge works in army building process. He announced that Azerbaijan will free its occupied lands.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Khizi region of Azerbaijan on August 21, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.

First of all, the President put flowers to the memorial of National leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Khizi city, after which he familiarized with improvement works, held at Heydar Aliyev's park.

As is reported, due conditions for city residents to have a rest have been created in the park, covering an area of 3.2 hectares.

President of Azerbaijan also took part in the opening ceremony of Heydar Aliyev's museum in Khizi.

He cut the strip and familiarized with the museum. The exposition hall contained photos from the life and work of national leader Heydar Aliyev. There are computers, work rooms and conference halls in the building.
