According to him, the Umid party plans to submit the signature lists to the Central Election Commission on August 21.
"The expert group is currently checking the signatures. The party has taken 50,000 signature lists from the Central Election Commission and collected signatures from all election okrugs in line with them. There are some inaccuracies in some of the signature lists, therefore, we are currently eliminating them. We hope that there will not be any problems in registering the candidate", said Aghazade.
It should be reminded that the amended Electoral Code requires collecting at least 40,000 signatures.
Notably, the candidate from the party is chairman of the party and member of Azerbaijani parliament Iqbal Aghazade.
