Azerbaijan to assist Georgia in extinguishing forest fires

Helicopters to assist in extinguishing forest fires in the region of Borzhomi-Kharaguli protection forests, were sent to Georgia Sunday.

Georgian side, which declared that the arson was committed by Russian troops, which intervened into this country, announced that flame has spread to 50 hectares of this resort area.

There is also a threat for local residents.

At the same time, Georgia announced that Russian side did not allow it to use its helicopters for extinguishing the fire.
