Sabir Rustamkhanly: "Political situation in Azerbaijan has worsened significantly"

He noted that conditions for candidates have been toughened. One of the main problems is the annul of deposit.

"Candidates have not been provided with equal conditions for participation in the elections. Candidates, who took part in the previous elections, are treated worse.

The Civil Solidarity Party is still not represented in the district and regional electoral commissions, political situation in the country does not rely on the liberal-democratic principles, the ruling party uses all resources to influence the results of the presidential elections.

We want to struggle in normal and civilized conditions. The Civil Solidarity Party will work for creation of democratic situation.

Nevertheless, our non-participation in the elections, as well as the political situation, do not imply that elections will not be held. Life goes on, elections will be held and people will elect their president", said Rustamkhanly.
