Latvian Foreign Minister to visit Azerbaijan

New Foreign minister of Latvia Maris Ritsktins will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in September-October of this year, said consul of Latvian embassy to Azerbaijan Martsis Maxims.
The visit will be held by invitation of the Azerbaijani side.

The sides will strike a number of agreements.

Latvian Transport Minister Ainars Schlesers will also pay a visit to Azerbaijan in autumn.

Maxims said Latvia is interested in the development of the GUAM transit corridor.

He noted that the cooperation in this project will be the main topic of talks.
