The Musavat party, functioning in Azerbaijan, will hold a protest in front of the Baku mayor's office on August 1, said Musavat party chairman Arif Hajili.
As is reported, the decision to hold the action was adopted at today's session of the Musavat party divan.
The action is caused by the violation of the law "On Freedom of Assembly" by the mayor's office, which does not allot a site for action conduction to the party.
"We are planning to hold the action at 12:00. In this connection, the regional organizations of the party have already been set due instructions. It is proposed to involve about 50 people", noted Hajili.
The session participants also discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country and the upcoming presidential elections.
