Director of Baku international press center: "The break in the operation of the press center is not connected with the upcoming presidential elections"

According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, temporary suspension of the activity of the press center became an object of political speculations.

Some mass media even addressed for comments of political scientists, who consider that the break in the activity of the press center can affect conduction of democratic elections.

Director of the press center Azer Veliyev announced that the center is closed for repair until late August or early September, due to summer calm and the need to change interior in the corridor, kitchen and the bar.

Veliyev rebutted the versions of the full shutdown of the press center and its transformation into a restaurant.
