02 July 2008 [12:25] - TODAY.AZ
"Talks on the unification of opposition into a single power center to influence the situation in Azerbaijan are currently not held", said chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloghlu.
He said the political structure has not yet decided about its participation in the presidential elections.

"It is now senseless to hold any works due to preparations for the presidential elections, therefore, the party has taken the wait-and-see attitude. Additional reforms should be held for conduction of democratic elections", noted he.

As for the question, whether the party may boycott the presidential elections, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party said:

"The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan does not rule out that it may boycott the elections. The party may pass any decision", said Jalaloghlu.
