Chairman of Azerbaijan Communist party meets with Gennady Zuganov

He noted that the sides discussed the sociopolitical situation in the region, as well as the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan.

"The chairman of the Russian Communist Party voiced respect to any decision of the party regarding the participation in the elections", said Gurbanov.

He also noted that he had a meeting with chairman of the Communist faction of Ukraine's Supreme Rada P.Simonenko.

The meeting participants discussed the situation in the Communist Party of Azerbaijan, future plans and characteristic features of Azerbaijan's Communist Party.

It should be noted that Rauf Gurbanov made two reports during the session.

In the framework of participation in the session, Gurbanov held 17 meetings with representatives of the communist and left wing parties of several countries.
