Musavat party: "People's resettlement from their houses is the violation of basic principles, fixed in the Azerbaijani constitution"

The statement fixes rise in the number of cases of pulling down houses and other immovable property.

"According to the authorities, this process may infringe on the interests of over 300,000 people. The most astonishing is that the population is either not issued compensation, or issued compensation, not complying with the real cost of property", says the statement.

Such tendency, considers Musavat, ruins lives of tens of thousands of families, depriving them of the property, which took them years of hard work. The party assesses these actions as a rude violation of basic principles of the Constitution, which recognizes the property rights of the population.

"Resettlement of residents of the house near Elmlyar Akademiyasi metro station, famous as the scientist's house, under pretense of a disastrous state is a bright example of this policy", says the statement.

The Musavat party assesses this tendency as an impunity of officials and demands from the government to stop violating the property rights of the population, fixed in the legislative acts.
