Azerbaijan's Defense Minister receives special representative of NATO secretary general

The Minister, stressing positive results of cooperation with NATO, announced that through the past years all programs in this direction have been implemented timely. According to Abiyev, conduction of works for compliance with NATO standards further deepen relations with the Euroatlantic alliance.

In turn, Simmons noted that he hopes for the further strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and NATO. He said Azerbaijan, successfully completing the first stage of the individual partnership actions plan, will attain greater results in the implementation of the second stage of the plan as well.
