The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan held a session yesterday, informs Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.

The session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country, as well as party's preparations for the upcoming presidential elections.
The party leadership discussed the PACE summer session and supported appointment of a special co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan.
The party leadership also discussed the recent results of the final exams. The party considers that the current situation proves need for serious reforms in the education system. The law, regulating the education system, has not yet been adopted, which leads to such negative results.
The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan discussed the recent hearings, held in the commission on external ties of the US House of Representatives. The political structure considers that some congressmen expressed a biased position regarding to Azerbaijan.
