State Committee on Town Planning and Architecture: "The master plan of Baku was ignored during construction in the past 20 years"

Construction was carried out chaotically on 4 000 hectares of land in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Abbas Alasgərov, Chaiman of State Committee on Town Planning and Architecture, said construction work has been done 22 000 hectares totally in Baku.

According to him, the master plan was ignored during construction work in the past 20 years and some serious problems appeared eventually.

He added a new master plan of Baku Megalopolis is being developed at present.
