President of Azerbaijan receives Pakistani Senate chairman

The Azerbaijani leader said relations between the two countries are developing successfully.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the level of the bilateral political relations, and said there are good opportunities for enhancing the economic cooperation.

He also praised the fact both countries support each other within international organizations.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the current trip by the Pakistani Senate Chairman will contribute to further strengthening both bilateral interparliamentary cooperation and overall relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

Mohammedmian Soomro expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leader for inviting him to attend celebrations marking the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s Parliament.

The Chairman of the Pakistani Senate said his country places particular emphasis on the development of its relationships with Azerbaijan.

Mohammedmian Soomro stressed there are good opportunities to boost the bilateral economic relations.

He said the interparliamentary cooperation is very important in terms of strengthening the overall Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations.
