NATO summer school opens in Baku

Azerbaijan is an important partner of NATO and its rich energy sources is an additional guarantee of its security, said Diego Ruiz Palmer, chief of NATO operational department.
"Azerbaijan is an important and active partner of NATO. Today, Azerbaijan has rich energy sources, which is also a guarantee of security", said Palmer at the opening of NATO summer school on Monday.

He noted that the management of crisis situations is among the main functions of NATO and this organization "is happy to cooperate with Azerbaijan", reports Interfax.
