Secretary of Armenian Security Council: "Representatives of Nagorno Karabakh should join the official delegations of Armenia under the working status of "Nagorno Karabakh Republic"

Armenian delegation led by secretary of the Armenian Security Council Artur Baqdasaryan met in Khankendi with "Prime Minister" of "Nagorno Karabakh" Ara Arutyunyan.
According to a source for information and contacts with community of the "government" of "Nagorno Karabakh Republic", Ara Arutyunyan welcoming the guests voiced hope that Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia will conduct joint effective policy for the resolution of existing problems, including with active participation of the secretary of the Armenian security council.

The head of the Karabakh "government" informed the visitors about the current socioeconomic situation in Nagorno Karabakh and programs implemented. In particular, Ara Arutyunyan stopped on stops, undertaken in the sphere of agriculture, construction, energy, education and tourism, aimed at ensuring new qualitative and quantitative level in the mentioned spheres.

The secretary of the Armenian Security Council noted that they get few information from "Nagorno Karabakh Republic", stressing the need to fill in their said gap by different channels. According to Bagdasaryan, internal problems of Nagorno Karabakh should be regularly discussed for official Yerevan to undertake timely steps.

At the same time, Baqdasaryan noted that Armenia will continue comprehensive assistance to Nagorno Karabakh. He spoke of the need of closer cooperation between Armenia and "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" in economic and other spheres.

Artur Baqdasaryan voiced confidence that under the working status of "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" it is necessary to include representatives of Nagorno Karabakh into official delegations of Armenia for them to gain experience of international communication. "Thus, Nagorno Karabakh will intensify its international ties", said Artur Baqdasaryan.

He promised to assist to opening of the affiliate of the Yerevan Agriculture Academy in Nagorno Karabakh on which the agreement has been attained between the concerned structures.

By results of the meeting Ara Aruryunyan and Artur Baqdasaryan held a joint press conference. During the press conference Baqdasaryan stressed that their visit is of acquaintance and intended to settle definite issues, saying that he had coordinated the agenda of a joint work consisting of 10 points, to be implemented subsequently, with "president" of "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" Bako Saakyan.

Artur Baqdasaryan noted that Nagorno Karabakh is a priority for Armenia and it will be provided with comprehensive aid for economic development and provision of security.
