Mubariz Ahmedoghlu: "Azerbaijan's WTO accession may cause significant quality change in the history of this alliance"

The due announcement was made by Mubariz Ahmedoghlu, chairman of the Center of Political Innovations and Technology.

He said Azerbaijan's accession to NATO will help create a large quality change in the history of this alliance.

"If this happens, it will help NATO to access the Caspian Sea and establish contacts with Central Asian countries and establish contacts with China", Ahmedoghlu noted.

The political scientist said NATO had not yet expressed its position regarding the occupation of Azerbaijani territory by Armenians.

"I think the position of Azerbaijani President which implies that if NATO needs Azerbaijan, it should appeal to us itself to be correct", Ahmedoghlu noted.

He said touching upon the Russian-US relations that they develop in conditions of sharp counteraction, but the recent events in March evidence their softening.
