Armenia considers that Azerbaijan has chosen the inappropriate place and time to introduce a resolution on Nagorno Karabakh.
The due announcement was made by Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan at a meeting with reporters.
He added that there is no need for such a resolution and the talks have not been exhausted. Moreover, they are held in the framework of the OSCE.
"Azerbaijan's attempt to attain adoption of any resolution by UN is a self-delusion, as the decisions of the General Assembly are not mandatory and have no legal force. They are just consultative", Oskanyan announced.
Meanwhile, he added that if the planned voting occurs on March 14, Armenia will pay attention to voting of those countries which come with an unbiased position and not take political expedience into consideration or rely on economic interests in Azerbaijan.
"We will pay attention to these countries and the decision of the General Assembly will be valuable if the general picture of voting of countries, critical for Armenia in the Karabakh issue are best represented", Oskanyan noted.
