Garib Mammadov refutes reports on ceding David Garedji territory to Georgia

"The information about agreement at the level of presidents on ceding David Garedji territory to Georgia is groundless," Garib Mammadov, State Land and Cartography Committee's Chairman stated.

He also said intergovernmental commissions are in charge of these issues.

"The agreement on maps and borders are within the competence of Commission. We do not have any order on that. The Commission for Delimitation and Demarcation of border does not make decisions on any church or monument. Just all independent states want its territories to be open and transparent. We come to agreements according to corresponding document."
