Peter Semneby: "100 million has been allocated for implementation of EU-Azerbaijan action plan in first three years"

"100 million euro has been allocated at the disposal of the European Commission for the implementation of the action plan between the European Union and Azerbaijan within first three years, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby told.

The Special Representative said projects for the implementation of the action plan are being worked out at the present time, APA reports.

As the diplomat told, the action is worked out not only for economic projects but for the establishing of democratic institutions, reforming judiciary, freedom of media, the measures which will help Azerbaijan's access to the EU.

Mr.Semneby said the financial allocation for the other Caucasus countries is much more. The diplomat explained this with the better financial condition of Azerbaijan as a result of the already commissioned energy projects.
