Experience of the Baltic states can be used in the solution to the south Caucasus conflicts. Nagorno Karabakh conflict is the inheritance of the past. Azerbaijan and Armenia suffering from aggression and enmity must be sure that historical realities will not repeat," the report says.
Goran Lennmarker said Armenia's major anxiety is connected with national security.
"There are serious problems concerning security in the country as a result of heavy historical practice gained during the Ottoman, Russia and USSR period. The main point worrying Azerbaijan is injustice. An important part of the country has been occupied and about one million of people have become displaced. Therefore, Azerbaijanis consider themselves the victims of the aggression. Though the parties state that the conflict has historical grounds they interpret its essence differently. Azerbaijan and Armenia should reach a common agreement regarding the events of the past. It is very important for maintenance of justice," he said.
