European Parliament to debate 'frozen conflicts' in South Caucasus

The debate of the protracted conflicts in the South Caucasus, including the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will take place during a large meeting in the Bureau of European Parliament. The exact date of the debate has not yet been specified, the Parliament member, Bundestag Turkish member Cem Ozdemir's Office told the APA.

Only the South Ossetia problem was intended to be debated at the European Parliament before. Later on the Abkhazia and Nagorno Karabakh problems have also been included into the agenda at the initiative of Cem Ozdamir.
