"Turgut Ozal could not establish Great Turkish Republic because he was poisoned," she said.
She said that an Azerbaijani came to their house in Istanbul a few years after Ozal's death and said "Ozal was poisoned, they prepared the poison," naming two persons. He said that one of them worked as barber in Istanbul.
"But this Azerbaijani later missed. We could not contact him anyhow," she said.
Turgut Ozal died on April 17, 1993. He ended his visit to Central Asia two days before his death, APA reports.
