Rene van der Linden: "Parties' positions can hamper the solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict"

"Meeting of representatives of Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations to Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to find the solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is welcoming," PACE president Rene van der Linden said while commenting on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"But the parties' insistence on their positions can hamper the settlement process, even create a deadlock. The delegations of the two countries agreed on visiting the conflict zone. I also intend to visit Nagorno Karabakh in the second half of the year. Of course, everything will depend on the processes," he said. APA
