Ogtay Asadov: "Council of Europe has normal relationships with Azerbaijan"

I regret that there is a wrong opinion about the Council of Europe in Azerbaijan, speaker of parliament Ogtay Asadov said during Friday sitting of the parliament.

The speaker said that Azerbaijan is the member of the Council of Europe, and the organization has normal relationships with Azerbaijan.

"Council of Europe appreciates the processes in Azerbaijan," he said.

Speaker Asadov made this statement after parliamentarian Panah Huseyn objected to having no access to the reports about Azerbaijan's commitments to be debated in the spring session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary, APA reports.
