Amman Mayor receives Azeri Foreign Minister

During a meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Monday, Ma'ani said the municipality seeks to foster relations with other municipalities worldwide to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise.

He also reviewed the tourism projects the municipality is implementing to heat up the tourism movement in the downtown where many historical and cultural sites are located.

The minister, for his part, hailed the construction booming in Amman, pointing at the accelerating growth that the Azeri capital, Baku, is witnessing.

The two sides saluted the twinning between Amman and Baku cities under an agreement which is being set up for further cooperation between the two countries. Petra
