Azerbaijan, U.S. to discuss military and political issues

U.S. Embassy Public Affairs department officer Jonathan Henick told the APA that the consultations will cover issues on strategic cooperation, Azerbaijan-NATO relations, the mutual activity of both countries in Iraq and Afghanistan and some other issues.

The agenda of the meeting is being specified at present. Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov will represent Azerbaijani side and several deputy secretaries of the State will represent U.S. side at the consultations.
