Azeri MPs to play friendly game against Romanian counterparts

Azerbaijani veteran footballers Ogtay Abdullayev and Isgender Javadov are going to leave for Bucharest, Romania, on April 23 with national squad composed of parliamentarians.

MP Zahid Oruj told APA-Sport the match serves to the improvement of friendly relations between the countries. The team is preparing for the match under the leadership of Abdullayev and Javadov.

"Both gave us some advice to follow necessary rules. We take most of their advice," he said.

MPs had a match against veterans on April 1 as a preparation for the coming match. The match conducted by former FIFA referee Khagani Mammadov ended in 6-6 draw.
