Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and Turkish Armed Forces General Staff sign cooperation document

Informing general Saygun of Azerbaijan's integration into European security bodies Safar Abiyev spoke about the development of cooperation with NATO, military political situation in the South Caucasus and Armenia's aggressive policy in the region.

Saygun said Turkey-Azerbaijan cooperation will continue to develop in the sphere of defense.

The sides stated that the two countries will support each other on all issues serving the national interest and defense. Perspectives of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and Turkish Armed Forces General Staff signed document on the development of cooperation, the ministry's press service told the APA.
