Novruz Mammadov: "We should achieve recognition of Khojaly genocide by international organizations"

"Azerbaijani Parliament recognized the massacre committed in Khojaly as genocide. I think that we should do our best to prepare legal grounds of these events by means of different court instances, raising this problem in international courts and recognition of Khojaly genocide in the international organizations," Novruz Mammadov, head of President Office International Relations Department stated.

As APA reports, he mentioned that the issue on recognition of Khojaly events as genocide has been raised in the UK and Turkish parliaments.

"This problem will also be raised in other bodies. The events happened in Khojaly are genocide and international community should recognize this fact. I consider that much has been done for the recognition of Khojaly events as genocide this year," Novruz Mammadov said.
