Nushuravan Meherremli: "Int'l organizations politicize ANS shut down"

"It means we took these steps according to the law. That is why I am against of politicizing the matter," the chief of National Television and Radio Council Nushiravan Meherremli told the APA.

Meherremli also stated that the international organizations and institutions have their own interest in politicizing the problems.

"This is their own business. We warned ANS for several times and that is why we decided not to protract the license period and to announce tender for the frequency. If they appropriate the law, being the state institution we do not worry about it. The great problem is their not-serious reaction to the decisions of NTRC and illegal work. They consider that they will achieve everything by blackmail," he said.
