Turan Morali: "Not U.S. but EU itself will solve Turkey's membership"

US does not intend to give an open and strong message on Turkey's EU membership, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali told journalists.

Commenting on Turkish Prime Minister Rajab Tayyib Erdogan's visit in US, the ambassador said that the problem of Turkey's acceptance to the European Union will be solved within the organization.

Mr.Morali ruled out any interference of US, saying that this is EU own business, APA reports.

However, Morali said that US supports Turkey's EU membership.

"US does not think there are any negative points regarding this issue and considers it as a prospect."
