Public debate on separatism held in Baku

Public debate on "Separatism and Caucasus without separatists" were held in the frames of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Human Rights Institute Baku club meeting.

The aim of the project is to prepare strategic conceptions and fundamental principles of fight against separatism and to achieve dynamic progress of modernization in globalization, APA informs.

The meeting was organized by ANAS Human Rights Institute, European Forum and "Roszarubej" Center at Russian Foreign Ministry.

Rovshan Mustafayev, Human Rights Institute director said the main principles of ensuring peace and security in South Caucasus is to make dialogue on cooperation and vital problems. Georgian parliamentaran Pata Davitaya touched upon joint fight against separatism.

"Separatism and organized crime are the same and we should fight against separatism in the same way," the parliamentarian said.

Tatyana Poloskova, chairwoman of the Office for Russians in the CIS Countries and Baltic States at Russia Foreign Ministry said it is up to Russia to improve relations with these states.
