President Aliyev congratulates new Japanese Premier

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has sent a message of congratulations Shinzo Abe on his election Prime Minister of Japan.

"We attach great significance to development of the Azerbaijan-Japan relations. I am hopeful that our friendly relations, and fruitful cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest will continue to develop steadily in line with interests of the our two nations," the President said in the message.
